The tub rack is structurally sound. This clearance relates only to its black surface coating.
We have experienced fading and failure of the black coating around 12 months of use. The coating may look normal when supplied, but it can fade or deteriorate with use. This is a finish issue; it is not a failure of the rack’s steel structure. The 12-month timing is an observation, not a guaranteed period without coating deterioration.
The clearance price reflects the known black coating issue. We are not selling this stock as having our usual standard of cosmetic finish or coating durability.
No additional voluntary warranty is offered with this clearance stock. This does not exclude or limit your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or other applicable law. Your rights for unrelated faults, including any structural fault, remain.
